[Processing Example] GP Drill

Processing 1000 holes in 4 minutes and 40 seconds! Here we introduce an example of processing using Iwata Tool's GP drill.

We would like to introduce an example of machining using our product, the 'GP Drill'. Using S50C as the work material, we conducted non-step hole machining under conditions such as water-soluble cutting oil, a machining depth of 4mm, and a cutting speed of 100m/min. As a result, the machining speed improved dramatically, allowing us to process one hole in 0.25 seconds. Additionally, we were able to perform machining with a hole depth of 4D in a non-step manner. There are various other machining examples, including non-step through-hole machining. 【Machining Details】 ■ Work Material: S50C ■ Results - Machining was completed in 0.25 seconds per hole - Machining with a hole depth of 4D was achieved in a non-step manner - More than 20,000 holes were processed - Machining speed improved dramatically *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Processing Example] SP Center

Introducing an example of processing that dramatically reduced burrs using Iwata Tool's SP Center.

We would like to introduce an example of processing using our product 'SP Center'. In a spot processing operation with SUS304 as the workpiece, we processed under conditions of a processing depth of 2.3mm, cutting speed of 14m/min, and feed speed of 64mm/min. As a result, we were able to dramatically reduce burrs, and the surface roughness also improved. We have various other processing examples, so please feel free to contact us. 【Processing Details】 ■ Tool Used: 90SPC2.0×6 ■ Workpiece Material: SUS304 ■ Processing Conditions (excerpt) - Dry - Processing Diameter: φ5.5mm ■ Results - Dramatic reduction of burrs - Good surface roughness *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
